Muay Thai TrainingTypical Muay Thai Training Schedule in a Muaythai campThere are normally two training sessions every day except on Sundays. Some fighters might also train on Sunday if necessary. The first session in the morning starts between 6 and 7 am. The Muay Thai Fighter gets up and starts the day with a run of several kilometers. After the morning run the fighter does some rounds of shadow boxing, kicks the Thai pads with a padholder, kicks the heavy bag and does some grappling and sparring finishing off the session with some weight training exercises. Only after the morning training will the fighter eat breakfast. The same is repeated in the afternoon starting around 3 and 4 pm until 6 pm. The Muay Thai fighter wears Muay Thai Shorts, Muay Thai boxing gloves, Muay Thai handwraps and sometimes ankle protectors and shin guards during training.
